CIMMS Scientist Jill Hardy, a research associate at NOAA’s National Weather Service Warning Decision Training Division, was selected for the “30 Under 30” panel at Elliot Masie’s Learning 2015 Conference. The conference runs from November 1 – November 4 in Orlando, Florida. Jill will be presenting at the meeting alongside Andy Wood, a CIMMS colleague, and Greg Schoor of the NWS.
The 30 Under 30 Program is in its sixth year. The program aims to provide support to young talent, who will become the next generation of learning leaders. Thirty individuals under the age of 30 are invited to attend and are offered a platform to share ideas and network with peers in the learning community.
As a research associate at WDTD, Jill develops and transmits training to NWS forecasters, who make crucial decisions that protect life and property when severe weather strikes. Jill came to Norman in May 2010 as a Hollings Scholar with NOAA’s National Severe Storms Laboratory. She was a Graduate Research Associate with the University of Oklahoma before joining WDTD in May 2014.
Congratulations to Jill!
