Research Scientist I

My research focuses on the study of severe thunderstorms and associated hazardous events (tornado, hail, wind, and flash flood) across the United States. My research leverages remote sensing observations and advanced AI/machine learning techniques. I focus not only on analyzing historical data to track past changes but also on integrating climate model simulations to assess the impacts of climate change on these severe weather events in the future.
