My research interests are on high performance computing with numerical weather prediction models and data analysis system, and scientific research that advances techniques for the assimilation of radar, satellite, and lightning data into mesoscale and/or storm-scale atmospheric numerical models. I am currently working for the Warn-on-Forecast project and managed a WRF-based hybrid variational and EnKF data assimilation system for providing accurate short-term numerical products to fulfill the purpose of increasing lead time and accuracy of hazardous weather warnings and forecasts.
