My main area of research is for the annual Spring Forecasting Experiment (SFE). This involves convection allowing model (CAM) verification of severe hazards. When not preparing for the SFE my research is on fire weather model climatology and verification. Additional research includes development of potential forecasting tools for SPC operations.
