Andrew Rosenow
Research Scientist
Andrew's research is focused on radar and mesoscale meteorology, particularly as they relate to winter weather. His work has included improving knowledge of the structure and cause of convective snowfall, demonstrating the viability of gap-filling radars, and the development of algorithms to improve the classification of precipitation types. He is currently working on methods of deriving snow accumulation, both for real-time and forecast applications, with a goal of providing better decision support.
